EXECUTIVE CHEF
Riverton Country Club is looking for a passionate, professional, a leader that inspires others. There is a tremendous opportunity to transform the dining experience at RCC by focusing on simple, consistent, excellent food preparation and delivery. The Executive Chef should not lose sight of those members wanting simple but excellent food while also giving other members wanting elevated experiences the opportunity to enjoy them. We are looking for an Executive Chef who will turn RCC into the restaurant of choice for our members. SERVER/WAITSTAFF
Riverton Country Club is expanding our outstanding Food and Beverage team. We strive to provide excellent service to our members and guests while working in a team-oriented atmosphere. We believe that personality and work ethic go along way, so although serving experience is preferred, it is not required. We are willing to train quality, professional candidates who are eager to learn and promote a positive work environment.

Description:
    • Assist in helping members/guests select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specialties, identifying appropriate wines, and answering food preparation questions
    • Provide world-class service to our members and guests
    • Willing to build relationships with our members
    • Passion for the hospitality industry
    • Ability to assist with special events as needed
    • Preform basic cleaning tasks, such as side work
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Articulate with excellent communication skills
    • Ability to make suggestions based on members' preferences
    • Ability to work well with others and promote a positive team-oriented environment

PANTRY/LINE COOK 
Riverton Country Club has an excellent reputation for fine and casual dining. Our culinary team is expanding, with opportunities for experienced and entry-level professionals. If you have a passion for food preparation and producing high quality products, consider joining our award-winning staff.

Description:

    • Prepare a variety of meats, game, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sandwiches, breakfast items, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
    • Ability to follow recipes, plate and garnish as set by the Chef with the ability to adapt to special requests and dietary needs
    • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

    • Passionate about cooking and producing high quality products with consistent execution of all menu items for our members
    • Ability to adapt to special events for our members and be able to interact with them as needed
    • Knowledge of FIFO, following proper rotating procedures and storage procedures
    • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, ovens, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment
    • Assumes full responsibility for any dish served from their station
    • Ability to work as a team and assist in any assignment given by the Chef during off-peak times
    • Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds.

Open availability for scheduling preferred as well as nights, weekends, and holidays. Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day!

DISHWASHER
This is the perfect opportunity for students or those looking to learn about the culinary industry! 

Description:

    • Responsible for washing and sterilizing pots, pans, dishes, utensils, plates, glassware, and other kitchen equipment
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
    • Ability to lift mats, sweep, and scrub floors
    • Discard trash, linens, and recyclables in proper receptacles
    • Assist with food prep, such as peeling potatoes, carrots, and onions
    • Assist Chef with additional tasks, as assigned

Requirements:

    • Pleasant disposition
    • Team-player
    • Solid work ethic
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
    • Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds.

This is an entry level position, prior experience is not required but is preferred. We are closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day!

HOUSEKEEPERS
Riverton Country Club is looking to hire full-time and part-time housekeepers. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, these non-exempt positions are responsible for detailed cleaning of all club areas, as detailed in the description below. 

Description:

    • Cleans and sanitizes Club restrooms as required, including mopping, cleaning toilets, and other responsibilities as dictated by Club's established cleaning standards  
    • Cleans and sanitizes Club dining areas as required, including vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, and other needs as indicated by Club's established cleaning standards
    • Cleans and sanitizes Club public areas as required, including vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, and other needs as indicated by Club's established cleaning standards
    • Checks daily list of duties and performs each day's duties to the standards set forth in Club's Cleaning Procedures Manuals  
    • Cleans and sanitizes Restrooms at Pool and Bowling Alley
    • Restocks supplies such as tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.
    • Maintains inventory of supplies
    • Other duties as assigned
